This garden in Lordswood was in desperate need of a refresh, the existing garage had long served its purpose and the customer requested it to be rebuilt from the ground up including a new GRP (glass reinforced plastic) roof to make it weatherproof, the garden itself was very fragmented and needed clearing completely and starting again from scratch with contemporary porcelain slabs and new brick walls and edging.
Out With The Old
The original garage was first stripped of any old fixtures and fittings before the roof was then carefully removed and broken down, the brickwork was then dismantled and removed down to the existing concrete footings before they had to be gunned out and replaced with newer, more suitable footings ready for the new garage to go up.
Decluttering
Everything outside of the existing garage was removed and disposed of before clearing the area in preparation of the new patio, a footing is dug for the new brick walling which will help to create a more definitive edge to the patio.
Quite The Contrast
The porcelain patio is finished in a very stylish design choice which transforms the look of the garden, the walling has been completed with a brick-on-edge with a large curve that extends from the existing conservatory to retain the earth behind it to keep everything neat and tidy.
A new metal gate is also installed at the side of the property for security but also to add to the design of the garden.
